Experience power of computing and digital making
This workshop will help you pick up the basics of coding, robotics, and the foundations of physical computing. Vital for many jobs in the future, physical computing is the act of creating interactive systems that can sense and respond to the world around us, allowing humans to communicate through computers. Everything from cars and smartphones to home automation and gaming consoles are tied to coding, robotics, and mechanical engineering.
The robocar uses plug-and-play sensors to avoid obstacles, track a course, and be wirelessly controlled. This kind of system is used in Mars rovers, autonomous cars, and bots built for all kinds of robotics competitions. Conquering this workshop will set you on the path to building bigger and better autonomous vehicles!
Our aim is to help you gain an understanding of the fundamentals of physical computing while providing a hands-on learning experience. And you even get to bring home a custom-built robocar to continue tinkering on. The robocar can be developed further to include more features - your imagination is the limit!
